Bumpy Dog wants to play with Noddy, but Noddy has no time this morning. He has errands to run for Martha Monkey, Dinah Doll, Mr Sparks and Clockwork Clown. Suddenly he notices that the bell from his hat is missing. He hears the bells on the town clock and outside the ice-cream parlour ring. He is cross that his own bell is missing, so he decides to find it. Big-Ears suggests that Noddy should retrace his steps to look for the missing bell. Noddy walks and drives backwards to all the people and places he has seen today. Mr Sparks offers to make him a new bell and Dinah Doll offers to sell him one. He only wants his own bell. Finally he gets back to his house where Bumpy Dog is still waiting. He finds his bell
